Game #1 of the YOCI Poker Stars series saw it all. There was a protest outside (we are told it was to do with the issues in the Middle East, although we know better and that it was a protest against a 40+ year old man arriving on an electric skateboard.

The game saw a dominant return to form for Marty, who bossed every hand eliminating every player. Our current champ stayed the course, and once Paul was easily brushed off for a 3rd place podium finish it was left to the long predicted final 2 head to head of Mikey and Marty. After a long period of passing chips back and forth with little to no overall change in chips, and the clock ticking into the late hours, or 2 champions (current and former) agreed to split the pot and honours both shaking hands on a joint 1st place.
